POSSESSION OF DRUGS:
Melissa Janine Garcia, 44, of 1620 Buena Vista Rd. in Hollister, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies for possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, felonies, and possession of drug paraphernalia, being under the influence of drugs and resisting arrest, all misdemeanors, in a park on Fifth Street in San Juan Bautista around 10:30pm on Saturday, police said.
Julia Elizabeth Lierly, 20, of 142 East St. in Hollister, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies for possession of a controlled substance, a felony, being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanors, on property behind the Quick Stop on San Felipe Road at 11:45pm on Friday, police said.
Fernando Sancho Sebastian, 52, a transient, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies for possession of .29 grams of suspected methamphetamine for sale, a felony, being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanors, on property behind the Quick Stop on San Felipe Road at 11:45pm on Friday, police said.
Y-Honathan Gus Kouretas, 20, of 920 Paseo Dr. in Hollister, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies for possession of marijuana for sale, a felony, and being under the influence of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, during a traffic stop in the 300 block of Chappell Road in Hollister at 11:40pm on Sunday, police said.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE:
Juan Alejandro Vega, 27, who lives in the 500 block of Churchill Rd. in Hollister, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol for driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level above .08 and driving without a license, misdemeanors, in the 500 block of Churchill Road at 11:32pm on Monday, police said.
All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
