DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: Ladislado A. Jimenez, 28, of 1345 Rider St. in Salinas, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, on Highway 156 west of San Felipe Road at 8:22 p.m. on Sunday.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: Cristobal Camarillo Trevino, 28, of 1261 Buena Vista Rd. in Hollister, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol for driving under the influence and driving without a license, both misdemeanors, on Almond Court at Buena Vista Road at 10:30 p.m. on Sunday.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: Rosendo Domingo Martinez, 19, of 1721 Southwest 107 St. in Seattle, Wash.., was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence and driving without a license, both misdemeanors, on San Benito and Hawkins streets at 12:15 a.m. on Sunday.

HIT AND RUN: Alvaro Sandoval, 21, of 131 Ventura Ct. in Hollister, was arrested after he backed into another car, causing damage, in the Albertsons parking lot on Sunday around 8 p.m. and then left the scene. He was later arrested by Hollister police for hit and run, a misdemeanor, driving without a license, a misdemeanor, and cited for possessing a small amount of marijuana.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: Remigio Perez Ramirez, 46, of 970 Del Rio Dr. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, in the 600 block of San Felipe Road at 3:30 a.m. on Sunday.

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: Brandon Roy Scotton, 19, of 1941 Sycamore Ct. in Hollister, Chase Williams Rogers, 19, of 2160 Los Viboras Rd. in Hollister, and Kyle Howard, 20 of 640 Talbot Dr. in Hollister were arrested by San Benito County Sheriff’s deputies in a drug-related incident at 1:50 a.m. on Friday. Deputies responded to a noise disturbance at 120 Churchill Rd. and smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from a car the men were in. Howard was arrested for possession of 5.74 grams of cocaine with intent to sell, a felony, being under the influence of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, a misdemeanor. Scotton was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance and being in the possession of a methamphetamine pipe, both misdemeanors. Rogers was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor
