ROBBERY:
Salvador Ramos, 24, of Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for robbery and violation of parole, felonies, and possession of a counterfeit $100 bill, a misdemeanor, on Powell Street at 9:49pm on Wednesday after he allegedly robbed a man at gunpoint and took $500 from him earlier in the afternoon, police said. The victim positively identified Ramos from a photo line-up after he was apprehended, police said.
DRUG POSSESSION:
Juan Gonzalez, 26, of Stockton, was arrested by Hollister police for possession of suspected methamphetamine and possession of burglary tools, both felonies, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Gonzales was taken into custody after police contacted him and he submitted to a search of himself and his car in the 600 block of Central Avenue around 4pm on Wednesday, police said.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE:
Mellissa Gonzales-Bustillos, 20, who lives in the 1500 block of Scenic Circle in Hollister, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol for driving under the influence and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, misdemeanors, on Fairview Road at San Felipe Road at 11:50pm on Monday, police said.
Anthony Nava, 34, of 1681 Monte Vista Dr. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, in the 600 block of Sixth Street after he was pulled over for driving recklessly around 12:35pm on Tuesday and was determined to be intoxicated, police said.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE:
Alvaro Sandoval, 22, of 35 East St. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police at 7:30pm Tuesday for domestic violence, a felony, after he allegedly punched a woman in the arm, police said.
All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
