Unreasonable noise, East Street

At 12:48 a.m. on Friday police responded to the 100 block of East Street where a resident had placed his neighbor under citizen’s arrest. The man had made numerous requests for his neighbor to turn down his loud music, but the requests were ignored. When police arrived, the man signed a criminal citation and the neighbor was cited and released.

Trespassing, Airline Highway

A 42-year-old Hollister man was taken into custody by Hollister police at 7:51 a.m. Sunday for trespassing behind Nob Hill after being told by employees that he was not welcome in the area.

CRIMINAL REPORTS

Burglary, East Street

A vehicle was burglarized around 10 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of East Street. Several items were missing, but were not listed specifically in the police report.

Suspicious Fire, Gibson Drive

Police took a report from a Hollister resident Friday that three males were seen setting a tarp on fire covering the pool house at the Gibson Station homes complex. The pool house was the target of two other suspicious fires last month.
