At 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, a fight broke out between female
juveniles at the intersection of Park Street and Rancho Drive.
Police said that a victim was struck in the head by a suspect, who
was then taken to Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital to check for
injuries. The report indicates there were gang slurs used leading
up to the fight, although there is no indication of what caused the
fight. Police have a known suspect and the case is still under
investigation.

Mail theft, Washington Avenue

At 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, a suspect was seen stealing a package from a residence in the 800 block of Washington Avenue. Police have identified the suspect and the case is still under investigation.

Battery, Park Street

Grand theft, Panorama Drive

Between 9 p.m. on Saturday and 6 a.m. on Sunday, an unknown suspect stole a minibike from the driveway of a residence in the 1300 block of Panorama Drive. No suspect information was available.

Vandalism, Victoria Avenue

At 1 a.m. on Saturday, a victim reported he heard people in front of his residence in the 1000 block of Victoria Avenue. When he went outside to check his car, he noticed that a window in the vehicle had been smashed. Nothing was stolen and the only suspect information was that the people outside were three juveniles.

Fight in a public place, Meridian Street

At 3 p.m. on Thursday, a juvenile victim was approached by about a dozen male juveniles near the intersection of Meridian Street and Chappell Road. Police said the juveniles asked the victim what gang he was in and started a fight with him. He was struck in head and face, but no injuries were reported. One of the juveniles, a Hollister resident, was cited for fighting and released.
