Vandalism
Vandals used a rock to break the windows and dent the body of a Cadillac Escalade in the 300 block of Majestic Avenue in Hollister at approximately 2am Jan. 13. The Hollister Police Department had no estimate of damage and no suspects.
Vandals used a rock to break the rear passenger window of a car in the 1200 block of Monterey Street in Hollister between 8am and 3pm Saturday, police said. Damage is estimated to be $400, police said. There are no suspects.
Arson
A gasoline-soaked rag was used to set a 1999 Pontiac GTO on fire in the 500 block of South Street in Hollister at 11:56pm Monday, police said. Damage is estimated to be $7,000. There are no suspects.
Robbery
A man entered a home in the 900 block of Apricot Lane at 10:10pm Monday, police said. Once inside, the intruder pushed a woman and took approximately $60 in personal items from her purse. Police are seeking Victor Cabrera, 26, of Hollister on suspicion of robbery.
Arrests
Driving under the influence
Debbie Lyn Disney, 45, of Gilroy, was arrested by Hollister police on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, in the 1200 block of San Juan Road at 7:44pm Monday, police said. Officers received a report of reckless driving and witnessed the suspect nearly hit another vehicle, police said.
Jose Salvador Nunez, 47, of the 400 block of Chappell Road in Hollister, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, after a traffic stop on Sally Street at Sixth Street at 1am Monday, according to the CHP.
Indecent Exposure
Derrick Elvin Lenoir, 28, of the 800 block of San Benito Street, was arrested by Hollister police on suspicion of indecent exposure, a misdemeanor, and resisting arrest, a misdemeanor, after an officer spotted a man masturbating in his car in the parking lot of the Target Shopping Center on Airline Highway at 8:19pm, police said. An officer attempted to open the passenger door but the man slammed it shut, police said.
All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
