Vandalism
Vandals cut the lock to the main gate of a property in the 1300 block of South Street in Hollister between 5pm Wednesday and 7:55am Thursday, the Hollister Police Department said.
Arrests
Child Abuse
Trinidad Hernandez-Lopez, 30, of Hollister, was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of two counts of felony child abuse in the 900 block of Sunset Avenue in Hollister at 1:30pm Wednesday, police said.
Mauro Reyes Figueroa, 27, of Hollister, was arrested by police on suspicion of misdemeanor child abuse in the first block of McCloskey Drive in Hollister at 3pm Wednesday, police said.
Domestic violence
Daniel Rios Gallegos, 40, of Hollister, was arrested by police on suspicion of two counts of felony domestic violence; damaging a phone line, a felony; and violating a court order to prevent domestic violence, a misdemeanor; at 2:18pm Wednesday, police said. Gallegos allegedly hit a woman, cut a phone line, threw a phone at her and pushed her off a bed in the course of several days, police said.
Robbery
Orlando Eugene Carlson, 20, of the 200 block of Evelyns Drive in Hollister, was arrested by police on suspicion of strong arm robbery, a felony, and trespassing, a misdemeanor, after officers found him walking in the 1100 block of San Benito Street at 12:13pm Thursday, police said. Carlson allegedly took several items from the Target Shopping Center on Airline Highway, left the store and slapped a security guard’s hand as he left at 10:50am, police said.
All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
