Driving under

the influence

Taylor Adam Hernandez, 25, of the 2600 block of Fallon Road in Hollister, was arrested by police on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, after a traffic stop at 9:09pm Saturday on First Street in Hollister, police said.

Adan Gonzalez Espinoza, 39, of the 1300 block of Terrace Drive in Hollister, was arrested by the police on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, at 11:13pm Saturday in the 300 block of Sunnyslope Road in Hollister, police said.

Joaquin Zeferino, of the 200 block of Haydon Street in Hollister, was arrested by the police on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, after a traffic stop at 2:45am Monday in the 900 block of San Benito Street in Hollister, police said.

Drunk in public

Jose Maria Cervantes, 45, of the 300 block of Jan Avenue in Hollister, was arrested by the police on suspicion of being drunk in public, a misdemeanor, after responding to a disturbance call at 9:15pm Saturday in the 700 block of Sally Street in Hollister, police said. A man would not leave an apartment, had urinated his pants and did not know where he lived, police said.

Misael Amaya, 19, of Mexico, was arrested by the police on suspicion of being drunk in public, a misdemeanor, at 12:04am Sunday at the intersection of East and Seventh streets, police said.

Julio Alberto Urrutia, 45, of Hollister, was arrested by the police on suspicion of being drunk in public, a misdemeanor, after responding to a disturbance call at 10:16pm Saturday in Hollister, police said.

Domestic violence

Ricardo Bolanos Sanchez, 22, of Hollister, was arrested by deputies on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence, both felonies, after responding to a disturbance at 11:15am Friday in Hollister, deputies said. A woman’s hand was cut with a knife, deputies said.

Crime reports

Vehicle theft

A 1991 Oldsmobile Bravado was stolen at 5:45pm Sunday while parked in front of Superior Bakery on San Juan Road in Hollister, the Hollister Police Department said. The vehicle was left unlocked, police said. There are no suspects.

All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
