Vehicle theft, Las Palmas Drive

At 7:07 p.m. on Sunday, a car was reported stolen from the 700 block of Las Palmas Drive. According to police, the car was stolen on Friday but not reported stolen until Sunday. On Saturday, the same vehicle was involved in a sheriff’s pursuit. After a short pursuit, the 18-year-old Hollister male stopped the car and ran from sheriff’s deputies. After he was caught, the suspect was taken into custody for the pursuit and charged with resisting arrest and vandalism after he kicked out the window of the deputy’s car. On Sunday, when the was reported stolen, Hollister police arrested the suspect for possession of stolen property.

Indecent exposure, Tres Pinos Road

At 7 p.m. on Feb. 27, a 25-year-old Hollister male was reported to have exposed himself to an 11-year-old victim at the Pinnacle building on the 500 block of Tres Pinos Road. The victim saw the suspect again on Friday, and the mother placed the male under citizen’s arrest. He was arrested and booked for indecent exposure.

Possession of a weapon at school, Rancho Drive

At 12:50 p.m. on Friday, a Hollister juvenile male was seen placing a knife into his shoe at Rancho School on the 1200 block of Rancho Drive. The suspect was arrested and taken to juvenile hall.

CRIMINAL COMPLAINTS

Vehicle theft, Miller Road

Sometime between 4:15 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. on Saturday, a car was stolen from a residence on the 100 block of Miller Road. No suspect information was available.

Minor in possession of alcohol, West Street

Police were called to a residence on the 1200 block of West Street for a noise complaint at 11:42 p.m. on Saturday. Upon arrival, police found a minor was found to be in possession of alcohol. The 18-year-old Hollister male was cited for possession.

Vandalism, Eastview Drive

At 9:36 p.m. on Saturday, an $800 window was broken at the rear of a residence on the 200 block of Eastview Drive. Police said that nothing was reported missing and no suspect information was available.
