At 8:35 p.m. Saturday, police officers responded to reports that
a 40-year-old Hollister resident was disturbing the peace by
yelling in the 1000 block of Sunnyslope Road. They advised the
suspect, who was in an argument with another male, that he needed
to quiet down. They returned to the scene soon after due to a
report that the problem had not stopped, and officers found that
the other individual had placed the suspect under citizen’s arrest.
He was taken into custody by police officers.

Marijuana cultivation, Del Rio Court
At 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of Del Rio Court, police conducting a probation search located alcohol, a digital scale and two marijuana plants. The juvenile on probation was taken into custody.
Criminal Reports
Theft, Lana Way
Police took a report on Monday that a hydraulic dump trailer was stolen between Friday and Sunday in the 300 block of Lana Way.
Terrorist threats
Police took a report on Sunday that a Hollister juvenile had been threatened by his mother’s boyfriend during a visit in Clearlake. The suspect had threatened to “cut off the victim’s hands with a big knife if he ever caught him stealing,” according to the report. No arrests were made in the case.
