Illegally obtaining a prescription
Police took a report on Monday that two unknown suspects attempted to use information from a Hazel Hawkins doctor’s files to obtain a prescription at the pharmacy. Police will investigate the matter.
Burglary
On Sunday around 4 in the afternoon a victim discovered that his home had been burglarized. Police reported that the burglary took place along the 1100 block of Jan Avenue and that stereo equipment, clothing and a video camera were taken.
Bicycle DUI
Police stopped a juvenile on a bike at 12:30 a.m. Sunday for a curfew violation. The police statement indicates that the youth exhibited symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol and was cited for bicycle DUI and released to his father. The report didn’t indicate an age.
Threat
On Sunday, police reported that a juvenile was contacted by cell phone and that a suspect told her that he was going to “cut off her head and swim in her blood.” The frightened victim received a second similar call a few minutes later and then contacted police who are investigating the matter.
Burglary
A home along Sunnyslope Drive was burglarized on Monday at 7 a.m., according to a police report. Missing items include a Smith & Wesson revolver, $300 in cash, a necklace and a computer.
