Embezzlement, Sally Street

Around 10 p.m. on Wednesday, police received a report of embezzlement of a vehicle. The victim said her ex-husband, a 29-year-old Hollister male, had been lent a car and it was not returned by the time agreed upon. The case was referred to the San Benito County District Attorney’s Office.

Drunk in public, West Street

Around midnight on Wednesday, a male Hollister juvenile was contacted by police for curfew violations on the 900 block of West Street. Upon contact, the suspect displayed objective signs of intoxication. The juvenile was cited and released to his mother.

Vehicle theft, First Street

At 8 p.m. on Tuesday, a vehicle was stolen from in front of a residence on the 200 block of First Street. Police report that the victims went to run some errands and when they returned, the vehicle was gone. No suspect information was available.

Battery on a person, McCray Street

At 8:54 p.m. on Monday, a reporting party called police to say that her son was assaulted in the Save Mart parking lot on the 200 block of McCray Street. Police said the mother reported the incident to police to document it and not to press charges.

Vandalism, Tres Pinos Road

At sometime in the early morning on Tuesday, an unknown suspect scratched windows and sprayed ink on the Coldwell Banker building on the 300 block of Tres Pinos Road. No suspect information was available.
