SBC sheriff's office

The discovery of the skeletal remains of an adult male was reported to the San Benito County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday near Hollister.
Deputies were dispatched to a section of Highway 156 a half mile east of Highway 25 to an agriculture field where the body was discovered.
Deputies sent the remains to Santa Clara County to be examined by an anthropologist. The remains appear to have been decomposing for at least 10 weeks, according to the sheriff’s office.
The investigation is ongoing, and the cause of death has not be determined. If anyone has any information, call the San Benito County Sheriff’s Office at (831) 636-5080 or the TIP-LINE at (831) 636-4084.
