A resident had a sinking feeling about the condition of one local road and notified the Pinnacle about the problem.
“I am curious what is going to be done with the big sink holes that are on Hawkins Street by Washington Street? They are really dangerous and to avoid them you need to drive on the opposite side of the street if you Washington and Hawkins Streets need to be repaved. They will both ruin your tires – let alone the alignment of your tires,” she went on.
On Tuesday, the Hollister City Public Works Department said it would send someone out there to take a look at the problem. As usual, they will make every effort to have it fixed as soon as possible.
