A resident of a home is missing after a fire Wednesday morning
destroyed a house near Hollister, according to Calfire. The fire
near Cienega Road and Ashford Circle, south of Hollister, was first
reported around 5 a.m.

Firefighters initially searched the building and did not find any occupants. But there appears to be a resident of the building who is unaccounted for, while authorities are trying to locate the person, according to Calfire.
The home was fully involved when crews arrived, and the structure is a “total loss,” according to a statement.
