The Anzar girls soccer team continued its success Tuesday, dominating Marina with three second-half goals in a 3-0 victory.
Ali Bautista got the Hawks on the board in the 57th minute. Less than 10 minutes later Brianna Miltimore added another goal in the 65th minute.
Finally, in the 72nd minute Monica Medina scored the final Anzar goal.
Noemy Vazquez saved seven shots for the Hawks in the win.
The Hawks have outscored their league opponents 5-0 in two games. The Hawks are 8-4 overall and 2-0 in league play.
The Hawks host Pacific Collegiate at 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
AHS boys basketball
The Hawks lost a close game to Trinity Christian on Tuesday. The Hawks led by a point at halftime, but they were unable to hold on as Trinity Christian outscored the Hawks by 9 points in the second half.
Anzar travels to Oakwood School at 4 p.m. Thursday.
