The Anzar High boys cross country team defeated Pacific Collegiate 19-36 in a Coastal Athletic League Meet at Wilder Ranch in Santa Cruz last Thursday.

Anzar’s Aaron Hsia-Coron led the Hawks to a first-place finish, recording a 17:08. Teammates Izzy Parra was third and Jacob Wilkenson was fifth.

In the girls race, Valerie Quezada was first overall.
