Rain

Hollister police released an announcement Wednesday about availability of sandbags in light of the coming storm. The National Weather Service predicts rain storms for the area starting Wednesday night and lasting into Friday.
According to police:
Over the next several days, heavy showers are expected intermittently in the City of Hollister. Localized flooding is a possibility in some areas of the city. Sandbags will be available at the City Yard at 1321 South St. and Fire Station #2 at 1000 Union Road, both during regular business hours. The Hollister Police Department also reminds motorists to turn on their headlamps while operating their windshield wipers in inclement weather and reduce speeds in areas of pooling water on the roadways.
