Dear Editor:

I’m writing this letter to say thanks to the community of San Benito County for giving me the opportunity to serve on the San Benito High School Board for a fourth term.

I want to let you know that I look forward to this next four years.

I have had the privilege to serve on the Board with two different superintendents. They both have kept our school financially sound, kept our educational standards high and our facility beautiful and safe for the staff and the students.

I look forward to the idea of working with a new superintendent and the new members of the Board.

I have made a commitment to myself to become a more visible, active Board member. I plan to spend more time on campus, and hope that will help the staff feel that I’m sincere when I say I care about how they feel and about the school. I have always been honest, trustworthy and a good listener.

Again, thanks to those of you who voted for me. I won’t let you down. God bless you all.
