Two Hollister Girl Scouts are doing their part to help literacy, and they can use your help.

Girl Scouts Monica Abonce, 13, and Mia Ventimiglia, 14, members of Cadette Troop 23411, are working toward their Silver Award, the highest honor that a Cadette Girl Scout can earn.  Before a Cadette can start her Silver project, she has to complete a Journey trail and program. Abonce and Ventimiglia have worked on their Journey for a year with their leader Emily Milla and the other girls in their troop. They are seeking donations of like-new books for children and young adults. If you are interested in donating books, please call (831) 637-2165 or (831) 636-3351.
