Air Force Airman Jacqueline E. Moreno has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization, core values, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises, and special training in human relations.
She is the daughter of Patricia Moreno of Gilroy and a 2007 graduate of Gilroy High School.
Morgan Triolo
Morgan Triolo, a student at Ascencion Solorsano School, has been accepted into the People to People World Leadership Forum. Triolo will join a select group of students in Washington D.C., March 23 through 28 to study leadership and explore the area.
Triolo will examine the characteristics of American leadership during times of national challenge and prosperity. Delegates will also participate in small group discussions and exercises to experience first-hand how successful leaders develop strategies, make decisions, build consensus and foster change.
Triolo was nominated and accepted for the honor based on outstanding scholastic merit, civic involvement and leadership potential.
