Sharp Shines in First Game

Kyle Sharp, a freshman at the University of Montana, made an early impression for his new team in the exhibition opener – an 83-47 victory Friday against Great Falls.

Sharp, who graduated last year from San Benito High School and who was named the league MVP, led the team with 13 rebounds off the bench.

In his 15 minutes, he scored eight points, going 4-for-5.

He will be making his first trip to northern California Dec. 22 at Santa Clara.
