At 3:40 p.m. Saturday in the area of Westside Boulevard and
Steinbeck Drive, deputies arrested a man, 18, of Hollister on
suspicion of possessing a switch blade and agitating a police dog.
The man apparently had been trying to agitate the dog by barking at
it and making faces.
Possession of burglary tools, San Felipe Road

At 12:38 p.m. Saturday, deputies arrested a man, 42, of Los Gatos on suspicion of possessing pararphanelia and burglary tools and having false tags on his vehicle. Deputies found a tool to pry open doors, universal ignition keys, plastic wedges for windows and wire cutters. The man also had a glass pipe used to smoke methamphetamine.

Barking at a police dog, Westside Boulevard

At 3:40 p.m. Saturday in the area of Westside Boulevard and Steinbeck Drive, deputies arrested a man, 18, of Hollister on suspicion of possessing a switch blade and agitating a police dog. The man apparently had been trying to agitate the dog by barking at it and making faces.

Under the influence, Tres Pinos Road

At 7:18 p.m. Sunday, deputies cited a man on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance while riding a bicycle near Airline Highway and Tres Pinos Road.

Jail fight, SBC Jail

At 8:50 p.m. Sunday, deputies stopped two jail inmates in a physical fight. The case involving the two women, ages 30 and 37, was referred to the district attorney’s office.

Petty theft, Kmart

Deputies responded to a report of a woman, 23, of Hollister on suspicion of theft of clothing from Kmart, 491 Tres Pinos Road. The arrest and booking was handled by Hollister police.
