San Benito County Sheriff’s deputies are in search of a man who alleged approached the boyfriend of an ex-girlfriend and hit the man with a metal pipe. Officers are looking for Cameron Bush in relation to the case.
Officers responded to a call at 11:58 p.m. on Monday to 900 Anzar Road for a report of a fight between two males and a female. The deputies made contact with the male and female victims outside of their trailer. The mail victim said he and his girlfriend were standing outside their trailer when a silver-colored, four door vehicle drove up. They allege the driver of the vehicle opened the driver side door and got out of the vehicle with a metal pipe in his hand. The male victim said he recognized Bush who is an ex-boyfriend of the female victim.
They said Bush yelled at the female victim to get in his car and then charged at the male victim hitting him several times with the metal pipe. Bush then grabbed the female victim and pulled her into his vehicle and started to drive out of the trailer park. The female victim fought with Bush in the vehicle and was able to free herself and escape from Bush’s vehicle, they said. Bush then drove out of the trailer park in an unknown direction. The vehicle Bush was driving was later found in Prunedale without him in it.
Coincidently early Tuesday morning there was a white 1998 Toyota Tacoma with a California license plate number 7B59755 with a camper shell on it stolen from the Aromas area. It is unknown if Bush stole the vehicle.
Bush is still outstanding and is on active parole and considered to be armed and dangerous. If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of Cameron Paul Bush they are encouraged to call the San Benito County Sheriff’s Office at 831-636-4080 or the TIP-LINE at 831-636-4084
