Hollister NJB holding sign-ups for 2010 season
Hollister National Junior Basketball is still taking sign-ups
for the 2010-11 season. The league, which runs from November
through February, is open to boys and girls from grades three
through eight.
Home games are played at San Benito High School. Visit:

schedule of events and registration forms. Sign-ups will be taken
up to the first player evaluation on Oct. 10 at Rancho San Justo
School gym.
The league is also offering open gyms on Wednesdays from 6:30 to
8 p.m. at Marguerite Maze Gym through the month of October. There
is a $3 per player charge at the door to cover cost of the gym
rental.

Warrior Dash comes to Casa de Fruta
Warrior Dash, deemed America’s most insane race, will land in Northern California for the first time in 2010 on Oct. 30 at Casa de Fruta.
The race will be 3.5 miles long and will include 12 obstacles like “Muddy Mayhem,” where competitors will crawl underneath barbed wire through a mud pit, or “Warrior Roast,” where competitors will leap over fire.
Price is $55 until 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 17. No registrations will be accepted on Oct. 18.
Prizes will be awarded, including awards for top 3 males, top 3 females, best warrior beard, and best costume.
