I don’t necessarily disagree with the politics of Los Valientes.
Anytime anyone oversees and calls out about corruption in
government, I’m for that. I do disagree with their tactics. If it
is not illegal, it certainly should be, for anyone or any group to
anonymously make accusations or file lawsuits against anyone.
Editor,
I don’t necessarily disagree with the politics of Los Valientes. Anytime anyone oversees and calls out about corruption in government, I’m for that. I do disagree with their tactics. If it is not illegal, it certainly should be, for anyone or any group to anonymously make accusations or file lawsuits against anyone. I applaud John Sarsfield for pursuing his convictions, although hiring an outside prosecutor & wasting tax payer money is not a good thing.
This is America, and yes, there can be repercussions for standing up and spouting the truth particularly about public officials. But if you don’t have the guts to face a little persecution, you should just shut up. This is the land of John Hancock, remember the big signature. That’s why America was great.
For a while we had that goof ball editor from Chicago who allowed the Free Lance to promote this anonymous editorial nonsense which I believe culminated in Los Valientes. (Fortunately, this was halted when we got a new editor.) Los Valientes are not the brave, they are Las Viboras, the snakes.
