Here are some things to do in San Benito County this weekend.

1. ‘Crumbles’ premiere

Filmmaker and San Juan Bautista native Akira Boch will premiere his film “The Crumbles” at the 30th Annual San Francisco International Asian Film Festival March 10, at 3:15 p.m., at Sundance Kabuki Cinemas. The film also stars Katie Hipol, a former El Teatro Campesino actress. The film stars Hipol, Teresa Michelle Lee and Jeff Torres as friends who start a band. Details: www.TheCrumbles.com.

2. Cowboy art

“Cowboy Heritage Art” at Southwest Roundup Studio Gallery, 106 Third St., San Juan Bautista. New show and sale runs March 31 and includes originals, fine art giclees and vintage prints. Thursdays – Saturdays 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Details: 623-1128.

3. Baler Fame Fest

The eighth annual Baler Fame Fest will honor eight inductees into the Baler Hall of Fame, including graduates from the 1920s to the 1990s. The inductees are Fred Rohnert, Sig Sanchez, Charles Tiffany, Ruben Lopez, Maureen Mattson, Dr. Alfredo Lopez, Pete Swanson and Mary Encinias. The event will be March 10, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at San Juan Oaks Golf Club. 4. Aromas Grange show

 

The Aromas Grange will host Chris Webster and Nina Gerber March 10, at 7:30 p.m., at the grange hall, at the corner of Bardue Street and Rose Avenue, in Aromas. The two play soulful ballads, jazzy tunes and folk songs. For more information, call Riche Saxe at 726-3609. Tickets are $18 in advance or $20 at the door, with proceeds benefiting the Aromas Grange. Another concert will feature Steve Gillette and Cindy Mangsen on March 23, at 7 p.m., at the corner of Rose and Bardue streets, in Aromas. The event is a benefit for the Aromas Community Grange. 5. ‘Trail of Tears’

Galeria Tonantzin will exhibit photographs from the “Trail of Tears” alongside organic sculptures of the photographs. Sales of photographs will be donated by the artist to benefit the ARETE Fund, an educational nonprofit. A reception will be held March 10 featuring poet Ryland Kelley, artist Dianne de Laet, and Native American music. The exhibit will be on display March 2 through April 15. Details: 623-2783.
