Tim Trefts led the Anzar High boys golf team last week with a 44 at the Mission Trail Athletic Tournament, although the Hawks were without a full team to record a score.
Carmel’s Oliver Jegat’s medaled the round at Poppy Hills Golf Course on Pebble Beach with a 36, leading the Padres to a tournament-low 204. Pacific Grove’s 216 was one stroke better than Stevenson (217) for second place.
Anzar’s Nick Tanuoye shot a 48, Anthony Bocanegro a 53 and Colby Castro a 63 to round out the Hawks.
