The National Weather Service has canceled a flood advisory for San Benito County.
The “urban and small stream flood advisory” was in place until 7:30 p.m., but has been canceled for the county as of shortly before 2 p.m., according to the NWS. The weather service forecasts possible rain through Thursday for San Benito County.
To help residents combat the weather, Hollister police Tuesday announced the availability of sandbags at the city yard, 1321 South St. and Fire Station No. 2, 1000 Union Road.
