regarding our proposed hotel in Tres Pinos. The article was fairly
accurate in regards to what I had to say until he reached the
second to the last paragraph.

Luke Roney, reporter for the Free Lance, telephoned me Sept. 22, regarding our proposed hotel in Tres Pinos. The article was fairly accurate in regards to what I had to say until he reached the second to the last paragraph. I am requesting the Free Lance print a retraction of this erroneous paragraph. I would never think, much less say, such a rude and thoughtless statement.
I care very much about what the residents and the Tres Pinos Water District have to say about our project. After all, how are we going to work out problems if we don’t listen to what people have to say and then try to come to some mutual solution? We feel the hotel is a good project for San Benito County and by working together, we hope to get it done.
