Aurelia Bozzo, 92, got a chance to go for her motorcycle ride before the rest of the rally goers even roared into town.
The motorcycle rally enthusiast accompanied Sacramento resident Fred Michler on a motorcycle tour of the county on Thursday.
“I’m going to have a sore rear end, but it was most enjoyable!” Bozzo said after completing the ride.
Bozzo mentioned in a story published in the Free Lance on Thursday that she was hoping to go on a ride this year.
“If anybody asks me to go for a ride, I’m ripe and ready to go,” Bozzo said.
Michler, a friend of Bozzo’s niece, offered to take her up on the offer. Several other bikers also called the Free Lance offering to take her for a ride.
