Louise Galdos was born Jan. 31, 1910 in the Gold Country of
California, in Amador County, where Louise’s father was a gold
miner. With encouragement and a job offer from Julian Casillas, Tom
and Beatrice Galdos moved to Hollister between 1925-1926. Louise
was 16 years old and the second-born child. Her siblings include
Marie Vallejo (1908), Frank Galdos (1912), Helen Garcia (1914),
Henrietta Liethle (1916), Eugene (1918), Laura Baughman (1920),
Tommy Galdos (1924), Juanita (Neets) Marcus (1926), Carmen Vieira
(1929). Louise is the mother of two sons, Petey (Snipe) and Mark
Gomez, two daughters, Marie (Honey) Cunha and Francis Gomez Galvin,
has several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great
grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
