Al and JoAnn Semenza celebrate 60 years together
A big congratulations to Al and JoAnn Semenza who celebrated
their 60th wedding anniversary April 24. Carl ‘Al Semenza’ was born
in Hollister in 1929. He met JoAnn Thane at San Jose State
University, where they fell in love and married in 1951. Their
daughter Sheryl Neufeld was born May of 1965 and raised in a lovely
home in Santa Cruz.

She wants to thank her parents for all the wonderful years they have provided her. They instilled a deep love for nature in her that nurtured her dreams of becoming a ranger, which she achieved in 1994. She is thankful for such wonderful parents and is proud of the 60 years of marriage together. The family lives in Hollister and they are wonderful grandparents to their two grandchildren, Rory and Collette. They all love Al and JoAnn, and wish them many more anniversaries to come.
