San Juan Bautista will hold a town hall meeting next week to discuss fire protection in light of the county’s move toward contracting with the City of Hollister for the services.

Appearing at the Tuesday meeting will be Supervisor Anthony Botelho, who represents the San Juan area on the county board and has pushed for the Hollister contract, along with Hollister Fire Chief Fred Cheshire and San Juan Fire Chief Chris Finstad, according to the agenda.

The meeting is set for 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Community Center, 10 San Jose St.
