My family and I were shocked and saddened by the passing of Stacey Reid, a manager at Save Mart. Mr. Reid was a positive person who seemed to engage all his customers.
The vigil for Stacey Reid, outside of Save Mart last night, drew hundreds of community members who remembered him for his positive personality.
My last conversation with Stacey was in May. I told him that we were having a party for my son who had graduated from college. Not to be outdone, Stacey told me about his daughter and all her scholastic accomplishments with pride and joy.
There are rumors about how Stacey died. I do not know what circumstances led to his passing.
All I know is that Stacey Reid will be missed by hundreds, if not thousands, of people whose lives he touched while he was with us. And that his popularity was made obvious by the large crowd who took time to remember him last night.
Rest In Peace, Stacey Reid.
