San Benito Stage Company presents ‘The Foreigner,” a play by Larry Shue. Oscar Party

‘Just For Joey’ benefit pasta dinner

The Spring Grove community is hosting the “Just For Joey” benefit pasta dinner March 3, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., in the Spring Grove School gym. Tickets are $20 per immediate family for family style pasta, salad and bread. Dinner can be dine in or drive-thru pick up. There will be DJ music and a live dessert auction. Caregiver’s Tool Kit

The Del Mar Caregiver Resource Center and Jovenes de Antano is sponsoring a series of workshops, Caregiver’s Tool Kit, for four Thursdays, Deb. 24, March 3, 10 and 17, from 10 a.m. to noon, at Jovenes de Antano, 300 West St., in Hollister. The class is free, but pre-registration is required. Respite funds may be available to attend the class.

The instructor Christina Andrade has a background in nursing and more than 20 years of experience in geriatric care. She has developed and taught classes on basic caregiver skills, behavior management, stress management and disease progression.

Jelly Belly RV visits

The Jelly Belly RV will visit Casa de Fruta, March 11, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Samples of Jelly Belly Cold Stone Ice Cream Parlor Mix, Sunkist Citrus Mix, Superfruit Mix, Sunkist Fruit Gems, BeanBoozled and Dips will be given out during the event. Khris Francis dinner and comedy show

Comedian Khris Francis will perform a dinner and comedy show benefit for Relay for Life, March 12, at the Vault restaurant, 452 San Benito St., in Hollister. Tickets are $45 each and the event includes a silent auction. No host bar starts at 6 p.m, with dinner starting at 7 p.m. Guests must be 21 and over. Tickets are available at Prudential Insurance, 899 San Benito St., The Locker Room, 441 San Benito St., and at Wright Bros Industrial, 1745 San Felipe Road.
