A car accident at Fairview and Santa Ana Valley roads at 8:38 a.m. today may have resulted in a fatality.

The California Highway Patrol was not available immediately for comment.

San Benito County Fire fighters responded to the call as well as CHP.

“We responded to the call, dispatched as a single vehicle, possible rollover and ejection,” a spokesperson at the department said.

He said his department could not reveal any more information as the investigation is being handled by the CHP.

CHP arrived on the scene at 8:57 a.m., after a white compact car went off the roadway, according to their website. The car is reported to have rolled over.

A male was unconscious in the vehicle and CPR was performed, according to the online report.

No other information was immediately available.
