Hollister American and Hollister National squared off in the Majors Division semifinals Tuesday night at Veterans Memorial Park, and behind the pitching of Tyler Triano, it was the boys in blue who dropped American by a 10-0 margin.
The game was called in the fourth inning due to the 10-run rule.
The win advances Hollister National to the California District 9 All-Star Tournament championship, which will take place on Tuesday. Hollister American, meanwhile, will need to emerge victorious from its elimination-bracket contest on Saturday in order to advance to the tourney final, and perhaps avenge Tuesday’s 10-0 loss to National.
