The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for San Benito County from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday.
The weather service issued the watch for areas from the North Bay southward to the Big Sur area, according to the agency’s website.
The service warned that heavy rains early Wednesday could cause urban flooding and debris flows. There might be ponding and flooding from small creeks as well, according to the announcement.
