South County Cal-SOAP invites students of all ages and their
parents to its 7th annual College Fair, scheduled for 5 p.m. to 7
p.m. Nov. 3 in the Gilroy High School Student Center.
South County Cal-SOAP to host event for area students

South County Cal-SOAP invites students of all ages and their parents to its 7th annual College Fair, scheduled for 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 3 in the Gilroy High School Student Center.

This is one of the ways Cal-SOAP can reach all students and parents in the four different districts that participate in the South County Cal-SOAP Consortium. South County Cal-SOAP welcomes students and parents from all over the South County region, and especially families from the Morgan Hill, Gilroy, Aromas-San Juan, and Hollister School Districts for this exciting event The event is scheduled between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. in order to accommodate parents working schedules.

“We sincerely appreciate the continued support from our local school districts and from our higher education partners, Gavilan Community College, CSU Monterey Bay, UC-Santa Cruz, Santa Clara University and National University,” said Erin Gemar, Project Director for the SCCC. “The recent success of Cal-SOAP graduates and their college-going rate is a direct reflection of their support.”

No reservations are required and the event is open to all community members. Opportunity to win door prizes will be available to all students in attendance, upon receipt of their evaluation of the event.
