Sans clan shares a merry Christmas with friends and family in
South County
Well, another Christmas has come and gone. Now it’s time to move
on to a new year. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with
your family and friends. It was a beautiful day to celebrate,
indoors or out. I just wish it was pouring rain and we all had to
stay in!

Well, another Christmas has come and gone. Now it’s time to move on to a new year. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your family and friends. It was a beautiful day to celebrate, indoors or out. I just wish it was pouring rain and we all had to stay in!

We hosted our sixth annual Christmas Eve party at our home. It was a little smaller this year as we only had about 50 people instead of the 75 we had in the years past as many of the younger families had to go to their in-laws for the holidays. That’s what happens when kids get married – they have to start sharing holidays with both sides of the family. After a delicious dinner, we had a visit from Santa Claus (AKA Bisquit), followed by lots of visiting and card playing. Some of those sharing the evening with us included: Laurence and Donna Hansen, Jeff, Jeff and Steve Schmidt, Jeff, Shari and Melissa Popnoe, Vern and Jo Ann Scattini, Lynette and Heidi Hurley, the Mike and Brandi Garza Family, the Hec and Kasey Hurley Family, Barrington Family, Brewen Family, Schmidt Family and Al and Bonnie Stoeberl. It was another fun filled Christmas Eve for the Sans clan.

George and Sandy Rose had a few friends and family members over for Christmas Eve as well. Joining them included Tami Rose, Les and Betty Sans, Janice Rose, Kenny Rose and Lisa Smith.

Cynnie O’Connor spent Christmas Eve with her sister Kanani and her family, then spent Christmas Day with the O’Connor side of the family.

The King City High School basketball teams will both be busy this week. The boys’ team plays in a four-day tournament in Watsonville, while the girls will host their annual Christmas Classic Tournament at home.

Dawson Bell came down to our place to spend a few days working with Brody and Todd. They moved cattle at our place and at Rock Springs with John Rianda most of the day, then spent the afternoons roping. They both had a great time.

Here’s wishing you all a very Happy New Year, be sure to give me a call or e-mail me at we********@ao*.com with any news you’d like to share.
