A 3.6-magnitude earthquake shook the county Saturday night and
was centered two miles south of San Juan Bautista, according to the
U.S. Geological Society.

The quake hit at 10:14 p.m., according to the USGS. It was at a depth of 3.4 miles.

The temblor was felt slightly in downtown Hollister, which was eight miles from the earthquake.

It also was seven miles from Prunedale and eight miles from Aromas.

A San Benito County sheriff’s dispatcher said there were no reports of damage from the quake.
