Bilingual education is a fraud
I don’t know Joe Navarro. He may be a capable and dedicated
teacher. But there is one item that is missing from his seemingly
endless laundry list of people and policies that he blames for
educational failure.
That item is parental involvement, and study after study shows
that it is the most important single factor in educational success.
How about it, Joe? Do you have any students who spend all their
spare time listening to their iPods and watching the idiot tube,
and whose parents could care less if they do?
I will comment on just one of Joe’s list of culprits
–

bilingual education.

My step-son was in a

bilingual

class. We took him out because it was a joke. There was never
one single word of English spoken in that class, which is why

bilingual education

is history. It was the best example I can remember of outright
liberal, progressive fraud, pure and simple.
