Shipping season is busy in South County
It’s been a crazy week down here in South County. We’ve been so
busy shipping cattle I don’t even know what day it is anymore!
Seems like everyone’s in the same boat, but, it’s a good boat to be
in. At least we’re all still shipping this late in the season. The
past few years we’d have been done weeks ago!
Once again, congratulations to all those graduates out there.
Seems everyone I talk to has just attended a graduation or a
graduation party. Jefferson School held their graduation ceremonies
last Wednesday at the school. They also bid farewell to their
teacher, Tina Plunkett, who had been there for several years.

Once again, congratulations to all those graduates out there. Seems everyone I talk to has just attended a graduation or a graduation party. Jefferson School held their graduation ceremonies last Wednesday at the school. They also bid farewell to their teacher, Tina Plunkett, who had been there for several years.

Good-bye, Plunkett family. We will miss you all! Bitterwater Tully School will host graduations ceremonies this Friday night at the school. Graduating from eighth grade this year will be Taylor Jo Hurley, Kassie O’Connor and Thomas Veysey. The Brown Family celebrated Bailey’s graduation from Cal Poly last weekend as well. Congrats to everyone!

Cynnie and Sami O’Connor and Traci Eggleston spent last weekend in Las Vegas at a Chris Cox Horsemanship Seminar. The event was held at the South Point Casino where the girls stayed. They all had a great weekend and said they saw a lot of interesting things.

The San Benito Saddle Horse Show kicks off this weekend with the annual Memorial Roping on Saturday, followed by the Figure 8 elimination’s and Father’s Day Roping on Sunday. Both events begin at 8 a.m. at Bolado Park.

Happy Father’s Day to all you dads out there. Hope you all have a wonderful day.
