Brother and sister graduate the same day
Nicole and brother David Walters both graduated from college on
May 28, Nicole from San Jose State University and David from
California State University, Long Beach State. Both Nicole and
David are graduates of San Benito High School and Gavilan
College.

Nicole and brother David Walters both graduated from college on May 28, Nicole from San Jose State University and David from California State University, Long Beach State. Both Nicole and David are graduates of San Benito High School and Gavilan College.
Due to their graduations being held on the same day and, at opposite ends of the state, some of the family attended Nicole’s commencement exercises in San Jose and others travelled to Long Beach for David’s ceremony. A graduation party for both graduates was held at the family home on Saturday.
Nicole received her bachelor of arts degree in Theater Arts. After graduating from Gavilan, Nicole transferred to Utah State and later transferred to SJSU. She hopes to work for Disney Corp. or go to CSU, Fullerton for a master’s degree and teach theater in a junior college.
David received his bachelor of arts degree from the Film School at Long Beach. David developed a love for film while at Gavilan College and was fortunate to earn a place in the coveted Film School at Long Beach State where Stephen Spielberg graduated. David is applying to USC for his masters degree in film editing. He plans to use his editing and post-production skills in the film industry.
