This time of year, the ‘trees are growing’
With such a rainy winter, it is no surprise that trees are in
full bloom. One tree on the eastern side of Hollister has blocked a
stop sign, and it could be dangerous for drivers who don’t notice
it there.

Trees are growing,

pronounced Clay Lee, Hollister’s community services
director.
Lee took down the location of the stop sign at El Toro Drive and
Arena Way and noted how crews will take care of it as soon as
possible. He called such impediments to stop signs or other
regulatory signs a

big priority.

As soon as we hear about any of them, we get out there as
quickly as possible,

Lee said.
