Congratulations to Lee Whitney for winning the All-around title last Saturday at the Memorial Roping. There was a lot of tough competition but Lee pulled off the title in the end. Some of those competing from South County included: Andy Barrington, JW Brewen, Todd Sans, Hec Hurley, Dean Bell, Joe Spencer, Lacy and Wyatt Bourdet and John Rianda and Kyla Prunty, just to name a few.
Cash Robinson and Brody Sans spent last Saturday in Livermore at another junior rodeo. Congratulations to Cash on winning the junior bull riding and to Brody for placing in the junior steer riding. Both boys will be spending next week in Gallup, New Mexico for the Wrangler Junior High School National Finals Rodeo. Good Luck to Brody in the bull riding and to Cheyenne Rey in the barrel racing and the goat tying.
Congratulations to Taylor Jo Hurley and Kassie O’Connor on their recent eighth grade graduation at Bitterwater Tully School. The girls looked beautiful in their dresses. They sure didn’t look like the little country girls I’m used to seeing every day. A community wide barbecue was held at the school following the graduation.
Good Luck to everyone at Bolado this weekend. I hope you have a great time! Be sure to give me a call or e-mail me at
