The San Benito boys water polo team edged visiting Stevenson 15-13 on Wednesday in Tri-County Athletic League action.
Behind nine goals from Nick Angulo, the Balers pulled away in the third quarter when they outscored RLS 6-2 to take a 13-9 lead entering the final stanza.
Tyler Reuther added three goals for San Benito, which improves to 3-0 in the TCAL.
Danny Jarrett, Jake Garcia and Joe Larson each added one goal apiece for the Balers, while keeper Trevor Agan recorded nine saves in net.
San Benito fell behind early in the first quarter but managed to knot the match at 7-all entering halftime.
The Balers will compete at the St. Francis Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

San Benito Girls Water Polo
Keeping visiting Stevenson to just one goal in the first half, the San Benito girls water polo team cruised to a 10-4 victory on Wednesday in Tri-County Athletic League action.
Caitlin Schafer led the Balers with four goals, while both Lauren Lango and Hannah Smith each added two goals apiece.
The Balers are now 3-0 in the TCAL.
San Benito kept RLS quiet in the first quarter and jumped out to a 3-0 lead. The Balers entered halftime leading 4-1 and extended their lead in the third quarter to 6-2.
Keeper Brittany Olguin had eight saves in net, while Jeanett Rodriguez had seven steals. Lindsay De La Torre and Rebecca Torres each added one goal.
The Balers will compete on Friday and Saturday at the Watsonville Invitational, where they are scheduled to take on Harbor and Mercy on Friday, and Monterey on Saturday before opening up bracketed play.
