In the race for sheriff, Undersheriff Pat Turturici raised a total of $30,200, while $10,000 came from a loan to himself. It included $15,277 in monetary contributions and $4,938 in non-monetary contributions, according to his disclosure statement. He spent $36,320 and had an ending cash balance of $10,421. As a whole, his campaign had raised about $60,000 and he had an ending cash balance of $10,421.
For Watsonville police Lt. Darren Thompson, he raised a total of $19,157 in the period. It included $18,109 in monetary contributions and $1,048 in non-monetary contributions, according to his disclosure statement. He spent $16,000 and had an ending cash balance of $3,890.
