‘The Legend of Sleepy Hollow’

The Monterey Peninsula College Storybook Theatre presents “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,” Nov. 5-21, at the Monterey Peninsula College Campus, in Monterey. The show tells the tale of Ichabod Crane and the headless horseman, set in the 1790 Dutch settlement of Tarry Town. Oriana Chorale’s Christmas Concert

Winter Dance Concert

The Winter Dance Concert, “Dancing thought the Decades,” will be held Dec. 1-3 at 7 p.m. at San Benito High School in the auditorium. More than 200 students, who are involved in clubs and classes, will be performing 25 different acts that follow dance and music through the decades. Dance styles that include jazz, lyrical, swing, and hip hop. Also newer cultural styles such as samba, bellydance, and Bollywood will be performed as well.
